Michelle Billingsley
Michelle started off on a good foot with life and quickly tripped. She’s just not that coordinated.
Born on a small farm in West Michigan, Michelle was raised on goat milk and frequently beaten by nuns. Actually just brow-beaten. But still!
After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Theatre Performance, she understudied Detroit Second City Touring Company and acted in various theatre projects, independent films, industrial videos and commercials.
She traveled the country in the Auto Show circuit for a few years and as a result, has developed a severe allergy to wearing high heels around new cars in carpeted convention halls.
Michelle started singing in college for the fun of it. And so far only a handful have asked her to stop. They don’t really appreciate that kind of thing at the zoo. Scares the giraffes.
Stefannie Bills
Stefannie is thrilled to be able to vent her bitterness in a positive way through the musical arts. She comes to the Chicago cabaret scene by way of Topeka, KS, where she learned the basics of music after deciding against a life of petty crime.
Stefannie studied piano from early childhood, performed in church choirs and plays, and created off-color musical productions that her family forbade her from ever showcasing outside of their home.
Stefannie graduated from the University of Kansas with an MA in speech-language pathology. She spends her days communicating with small children, and feels privileged to have a second professional life, dreaming, collaborating, and performing with other like-minded adults.
Stefannie has trained in jazz vocals, dancing, and improvisational acting in Chicago to further hone her artistic talents. Stefannie prides herself on being able to sing a low-C, having a broad musical repertoire, and choreographing dances on command for loved-ones’ significant life events.
